The Aristocrats…today
There are a lot of reasons to be offended by The Aristocrats, the documentary about the notoriously obscene joke of the same name. Nonetheless, I would encourage you to at least look up clips of the section covering Gilbert Gottfried’s telling of it at a post-9/11 Friar’s Club Roast.
Footage can be found unedited (for now) on Youtube, and should at the very least be something to think about on a day when everyone wants to reflect publicly on tragedy.
I considered posting some video here, but decided against it for reasons that should become clear if you decide to look it up.
